+1. Add Dishwasher Salt:
- • When the Salt Shortage icon illuminates, you need to refill the dishwasher salt.
- • Rotate the softener cap counterclockwise and remove it.
- • Add no less than 250g (0.55 lb) and no more than 500g (1.1 lb) of dishwasher salt.
- • If the inside of the softener is dry, fill it with cold water (DO NOT use hot or warm water).
- • Do not overfill the compartment.
- • Carefully stir the salt into the water, then securely tighten the cap.
- • After adding dishwasher salt, it is recommended to run a wash cycle with no dishware loaded to ensure proper functioning.
- • The Salt Shortage icon may not turn off immediately, as the newly added salt takes time to dissolve.
How do I adjust the water softener setting based on my local water hardness?
+- • Refer to the water hardness table in the user manual (page 13) to choose the correct setting for your area.
- • Press and hold the Power and Child Lock buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.
